Malcolm Gladwell. The Tipping Point: How Little Things Can Make a Big Difference. Little Brown, 2006. 322 p. $17.

Author
Journalist and science writer who produces best sellers.  This is his third.  If you aren't familiar with Malcolm, you're in for a treat - he appeals directly to America's affinity for the underdog.

Benefit
Gladwell received the most criticism for this book, I think, due to his apparent support for New York City's notorious broken windows policies.  This might be a decent introduction to Gladwell, but he did improve his approach a bit in his later works.
