My minor in my PhD program was focused on Thomas Altizer's so-called Christian atheism. Basically, in light of Nietzsche's wisdom, Altizer argued that the dead God of Christianity can only have life in a non-theistic Buddhist theology and eithics. So this book is an study of Buddhism's non-theistic philosophy's relationship to modern science and philosophy.
